Ningbo Wulongtan Scenic Resort is one of the Ten New Sceneries in Ningbo, an AAAA rated scenic area and the first of its kind in Ningbo to be certified in IS09000 international quality system. The scenic resort is situated in Longguan Town, southwest of Ningbo city, about 35km from the city proper. The scenic resort boasts natural sceneries of creeks, waterfalls, exotic rocks and perilous peaks and embodies the traditional Chinese dragon culture and the rural and folk customs in eastern Zhejiang.

The scenic resort covers an area of 16.17 sq. km, mostly country hills. Within the resort, there are rolling mountains, towering ridges and peaks, perpendicular cliffs and serene creeks and canyons laid out in a myriad terrain. The landscape is characterized by wondrous hills, clear waters andserene canyons and is endowed with a strong flavor of rural life and scenes, suiting the needs of sight seeing, holidaying, pilgrimage and mountaineering at the same time. Tourists here may return to nature, feast their eyes on the rural scenes, appreciate the indigenous culture of eastern Zhejiangand gratify their leisure needs. The scenic resort is distinctly associated with the traditional worshipfor dragon inherent in the Chinese folk culture, whereby it aims to create a domestictourist destination characterized by “escendants of the dragon,, touring the dragon pool, experiencing the dragon customs and worshiping the dragon ancestor.
